Catania have emerged with late interest in Inter’s Ishak Belfodil and have apparently just met with the player’s agent.
The Algerian has been continually linked with an exit from Inter this January with an eye on increased playing time ahead of the summer’s World Cup.
Whilst deals with West Ham and QPR have both failed to materialise, reports today indicate that Catania are in line for a deal.
Whilst the 22-year-old can also apparently count Bologna as in line for his signature today, the Sicilians are reported to have just concluded a meeting with the forward’s agent.
Meanwhile, Catania have mutually agreed to rescind Federico Freire Pisano’s contract with immediate effect.
