Radja Nainggolan has admitted to feeling ‘tension’ in the Stadio Olimpico before Roma’s Coppa Italia clash with Juventus.
The capital club overcame the League leaders 1-0 in the quarter-finals on Tuesday, thanks to a second half Gervinho strike.
And the midfielder, who recently joined from Cagliari, has conceded that there were some nerves beforehand.
“At first I felt some tension in the stadium,” he told reporters. “But our play quickly tranquilized all that.
“It was a beautiful victory – we are all delighted with this win.
“Does this change anything in the League? I don’t know. We’ll remain focused on the two competitions.
“Of course, the path to glory is easier in the cup, but we’re not giving up on anything.”
