The club released a statement this afternoon confirming the double deal has been struck based on six-month loan spells.
Marilungo is a former Italy Under-21 international who played only nine games for Atalanta this season between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
Gagliardini is a 19-year-old midfielder who only featured in one Coppa Italia tie this term.
