Attilio Perotti confirmed yesterday evening that he is reconsidering taking the Livorno job after ultras broke into his Press conference.
The veteran had accepted the short-term task of replacing Davide Nicola to the end of the season yesterday morning, but saw fans invade his presentation in the evening.
“If I did not accept, what would change? Any person would come in, there is value in someone who knows the people and the case,” Perotti countered during the conference.
“In any case, in light of this position taken by the heart beat of the fans, I prefer to reflect a bit. I would rather sleep on it before deciding whether to accept the job.”
Before fans had interrupted, Perotti had explained why he had accepted the posting.
“I decided to accept the job to give continuity to this club in which I have worked for the past two years. We will do everything possible to attain survival and then, plan for the future.
“Certainly I am not doing this for the money or the prestige, but only because I saw that I can give continuity to this club with my work.”
