Francesco Lodi is officially back with Catania after leaving Genoa after just six months at Marassi.
The playmaker left the Sicilian club in the summer, but he has returned to the Stadio Massimino after some tough months with the Rossoblu.
Lodi was a key figure for boss Fabio Liverani on his arrival at the port club, but he doesn’t feature in the first team plans of Gian Piero Gasperini who has since replaced the axed Liverani.
Catania have today deposited the contract of the former Udinese player with the Lega Serie A.
Lodi, three goals in 10 Genoa games, has been netted on a loan basis for the rest of the campaign.
