Napoli’s Goran Pandev still believes the Scudetto can be won – even if he admits it will be tough to catch Juventus and Roma.
The Neapolitans were in title contention before winning just two of their last five in Serie A. They are now third in the standings – five points behind Roma and 10 shy of Juventus.
“We are disappointed,” the Macedonian international told the Corriere del Mezzogiorno. “But the championship is still long.
“It will be hard because Juventus and Roma are not taking a false step, but we are obliged to give it our best until the end.”
Juventus and Roma will meet in Week 18 when Serie A resumes, while the Azzurri will entertain Sampdoria at the San Paolo.
