“I’ll look to the future with optimism,” Bonaventura stated. “Everyone wants to go to the World Cup though.

“I just hope that I can play as I did last season and boss Stefano Colantuono is really helping my cause.”

The 24-year-old, recently out with injury, has scored one goal in 11 Serie A games so far this term.
