David Pizarro’s future at Fiorentina looks to be in doubt, according to reports in the Italian Press.
La Nazione has revealed this evening that the Viola are weighing up whether to get rid of the Chile international in January.
The 34-year-old’s contract at Stadio Artemio Franchi ends in June, and with negotiations at a standstill, the paper believes that Vincenzo Montella’s men will weigh up whether to let the midfielder go over the winter.
Pizarro has been a fairly regular presence in Fiorentina’s XI this term, playing in 11 League games and five Europa League ties.
But with the prospect of him leaving in June 2014, the Tuscan side may well cash in on the ex-Roma man come January.
