Paolo Cannavaro’s agent has confirmed that the defender will almost certainly leave Napoli in January.
The centre-back has failed to break into Rafa Benitez’s XI this term, playing just four League matches under the Spaniard.
And the 32-year-old’s representative has admitted that the player’s future is away from Stadio San Paolo.
“There will be a meeting with the club soon,” Enrico Fedele told Radio Marte. “That’s where we’ll decide his future.
“It’s clear that we have to find a solution. For Benitez, Paolo is not a choice, so there’s little chance he will stay in Naples.
“Inter? I can’t say anything about that. But it’s hardly a secret that Walter Mazzarri is a fan.”
