The agent of Parma midfielder Joel Obi has insisted that his client will not make a return to Inter in January.

The Nigerian playmaker missed the majority of last season through injury, but some reports have suggested that he could make a move back to San Siro – the club he is currently co-owned by.

The Nigerian playmaker missed the majority of last season through injury, but some reports have suggested that he could make a move back to San Siro – the club he is currently co-owned by.

However, his representative has claimed that is not the case.

“Obi is fully recovered from his injury,” Renzo Contratto told fcinternews. “His physical problems are fully behind him.

“Physically and mentally he is ready to get back on the pitch.

“We’re just thinking about Parma at the moment.

“A return to Milan looks to be premature at the moment. Right now, Joel just wants to get back in the Parma team.”
