It’s reported Milan are very close to signing Torino full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio, who is out of contract next June.
The Granata have already confirmed D’Ambrosio will be sold in January after he turned down a contract renewal.
Roma had been the favourites to snap him up mid-season, with interest also from Fiorentina, but according to Sky Sport Italia they have been overtaken by Milan.
He would be available for Champions League football, unlike their other January signing Keisuke Honda.
The Japanese international arrives from CSKA Moscow on a Bosman transfer after his contract expires on December 31.
