Sulley Muntari believes that Milan could have come away with all three points against Roma yesterday.
The Rossoneri drew 2-2 with the capital club on Monday night, but the Ghanaian midfielder has insisted that his side could have won.
“Roma were strong,” he told Milan Channel. “We knew they would be, but I think we gained an important point.
“At the end we could have won, but I’m confident for the future. We are definitely on the right track.”
Muntari then commented on the match with Inter on Sunday and the draw with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
“Sunday’s going to be an important game for us. I was happy during my time at Inter, but I’m here now and feel great.
“Atletico Madrid? They are going well in Spain, but we want to go through.”
