“It is my first time playing outside Spain,” he told reporters on Friday. “And for me it was important to join an important club Fiorentina – a club with a great history.

“I’m now starting to settle. It has taken me a while, but Montella is giving me confidence. I’m playing more minutes now, and I think I’m getting used to the Italian game.
