Lazio’s injury crisis increased with news Bruno Pereirinha is out for three weeks and Alvaro Gonzalez is still struggling.
The Biancocelesti are without a Serie A victory in six games and were beaten 1-0 by Torino on Sunday.
Full-back Pereirinha picked up a left thigh strain during that match and tests have shown he will be out of action for three weeks.
It means his 2013 is over and he won’t be able to play again until the new year.
Gonzalez is also unlikely to feature again before the Christmas break, as he is still having problems with a fractured wrist.
He changed his cast today and will only be able to resume training next week with the aid of another protective barrier.
