Kaka wanted Milan return

Kaka has confirmed that he always dreamed about returning to Milan following his move to Real Madrid in 2009.

The Brazilian went back to San Siro this summer on a free transfer after costing the Spanish giants a massive €68.5m.

“I dreamt of wearing this shirt again and I hope to continue doing so for many more years,” the 31-year-old noted.

“I missed the environment of [training base] Milanello and the history of this club. That is what I missed when I was in Madrid.

“I like hanging around Milanello, talking to those who work there and remaining in close contact with them.”

Kaka has scored three goals in nine Serie A games so far this season, while he has one in three Champions League ties.
