Milan ace Ricardo Kaka says he only scored at Catania on Sunday because he had nobody to pass the ball to.

The Brazilian made the game safe with the final net-rippler in the 3-1 win at Catania yesterday afternoon.

“I’m happy with the goal,” he stated. “In reality though, I was waiting for Stephan El Shaarawy and Mario Balotelli to arrive.

“I wanted to pass them the ball, but they didn’t arrive and I shot instead to score my 99th goal.”

Kaka returned to San Siro after three problematic years at Real Madrid and he’s starting to make a difference again.

“I’m very happy that I’m able to play well and that the team wins,” he added. “It was an important game for us.”
