Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon has suggested his club are ready to invest during the January transfer window.
The Azzurri were big spenders during the summer and Bigon says he’ll be looking to reinforce the side further after Christmas.
“We will do what we deem appropriate,” the official told the Corriere dello Sport on Friday.
“We demonstrated that with the [recent Bosman free] purchase of Anthony Reveillere. There was an emergency and we filled it immediately.
“We'll see if we will need anything else and look around to see if there are players with the technical profile Napoli look for.
“As President Aurelio De Laurentiis says, we are always looking at the evolution of the transfer market.
“We will always be competitive, even more so. The fans want success and so do we!”
