“We are talking about a player who, if he can maintain these levels, can have ambitions of playing for prestigious clubs,” the tactician told Radio Mana Sport.
“A lot will depend on him, because if he continues to do the important things he is doing here then he will become a key figure for whichever club decides to focus on him.
“For now we will keep a tight grip on him because we still need him for this campaign.”
Bonaventura, capped by Italy last season, is a versatile midfielder who can play on the left or in the middle.
