“The lads are doing well and I have to compliment the team and Coach,” said Della Valle on Sky Sport Italia.
“There is still a lot of work to do, as we must grow and consolidate that winning mentality. They entertain us when they play and that is important.
“Rossi is a good lad and I really like him as a person. He impressed me and can really help Cesare Prandelli’s Italy side.
“We hope Gomez can return soon so that we can be even stronger and have even more fun.”
