The representative of Danilo D’Ambrosio has rejected the idea that his client is close to signing a new contract with Torino.
The full-back is only tied to the Granata until June which means he could leave on a Bosman at the end of the season.
“I’ve read in the newspapers that we are working on his renewal, indeed that we are on the right road for that,” Vincenzo Pisacane told TV Luna. “However, that is not right.”
If D’Ambrosio doesn’t put pen to paper then the January transfer window will be the club’s last chance to get a fee for him.
“A move to Napoli? I can’t exclude the possibility that Torino and Napoli have discussed a transfer because the agent is always the last to know.”
The 25-year-old has scored two goals in 12 League games for the Granata this term.
