Cesare Prandelli has refused to rule out a future coaching abroad after the World Cup, as Italy prepare to face Germany this week.

The Azzurri play a prestige friendly against the Mannschaft in Milan on Friday, and the tactician has revealed that he hopes Giuseppe Rossi is fit, whilst also commenting on Mario Balotelli’s recent form.

“A future abroad? We’ll see what happens,” he told reporters. “As Italy Coach there is not just pressure, but an obsession from the fans.

“I have an idea of how I want us to play against Germany, but during these sort of games you have to expect a few variations.

“I think we will however, play with four midfielders.

“Rossi? I would like him to play, but he arrived with a bit of a fever, so we’ll have to see how he is.

“Balotelli? He is experiencing a strange time at the moment, but if one character can come through it, it is him.”
