Milan assistant manager Mauro Tassotti goes against the grain, insisting “it’s right” that Juan Cuadrado is suspended for Fiorentina.
The Colombian sits out a one-match ban after his second yellow card against Napoli, even though video evidence shows there was no simulation.
“In my view it’s right that Cuadrado doesn’t play this game, otherwise we’d have to change the rules,” Tassotti told Sky Sport Italia.
The match kicks off at 19.45 GMT, click here for the line-ups including ex-Milan legend Massimo Ambrosini.
“It is a pleasure to see him again. He gave a great deal for Milan and played for us even when he was not 100 per cent fit.
“Who do we fear from Fiorentina? Well, Giuseppe Rossi is certainly doing great things. We’ll try to stop him.”
