Guidolin: 'Udinese didn't deserve to lose'

Francesco Guidolin insists Udinese did not deserve defeat to Roma and promises a “battle” royal against Sassuolo.

The Friulani lost 1-0 on Sunday, ending their 22-match unbeaten home run in Serie A.

“We know football and that behind a negative result there is often a positive performance,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“We played a very good game against the Giallorossi, the defeat was unfair, but now we have to concentrate on Sassuolo.

“I’ve been through a lot in my career and know the atmosphere you feel at a newly-promoted club. They conquered Serie A for the first time and want to hold on tight, so we must be ready for battle.”

Maurizio Domizzi is available again after his injury problems.

Udinese squad for Sassuolo: Benussi, Brkic, Kelava; Basta, Bubnjic, Danilo, Domizzi, Douglas, Gabriel Silva, Haurtaux, Naldo, Widmer; Allan, Badu, Bruno Fernandes, Lazzari, Merkel, Jadson, Pereyra, Pinzi; Di Natale, Muriel, Nico Lopez, Ranegie
