Inter forward Ishak Belfodil and Verona’s Evangelos Moras received two-match bans for their off-the-ball scuffle.
The pair clashed at the final whistle of last night’s Inter 4-2 Verona Serie A fixture at San Siro and were both shown the red card.
Today the Disciplinary Commission read the referee’s report and opted to hand two-match bans to both players.
It explained they were guilty of “a gravely intimidating attitude, grabbing an opposition player by the throat.”
Atalanta defender Constantin Nica has instead received a one-match ban for his dismissal against Sampdoria.
