Antonio Di Natale is saddened he won’t be able to face Francesco Totti when Udinese entertain Roma this weekend.

The capital captain will not be part of the game after he picked up a hamstring problem in the 2-0 win over Napoli on Friday.

“It’s a shame that Totti won’t be there,” the 36-year-old told Il Messaggero on Friday. “He is Rudi Garcia’s extra weapon and it bothers me that I won’t be facing him on Sunday.”

The Giallorossi will arrive at the Stadio Friuli with a 100 per cent record in Serie A so far this season.

“It won’t be easy for us,” the forward added. “Roma are in great form and they are having a great season.”

The Italian international added that amongst the many clubs who have tried to sign him in the past, Roma were one of them.

“I regret none of the decisions that I have made,” he underlined. “I’m happy that I stayed in Udine, by refusing an offer from Roma as well.”
