Winning the Scudetto will cost Roma €10m in bonus payments – but not every member of the squad will be rewarded.
The League leaders, with eight wins from eight so far, will be forced to pay selected members of their playing staff a share of €4.81m for winning the title and €4.9m for Champions League qualification.
However, only those in the squad with relevant clauses in their contracts will see a portion of the prize fund.
Leggo states that goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis, for example, will get his hands on a bonus of €200,000, but Vassillis Torosidis would not be entitled to anything.
Some club officials would also be rewarded should the side finish the season in the top three.
CEO Italo Zanzi would thus be handed €300,000 gross and director general Mauro Baldissoni due half of that amount.
