Cesare Prandelli has called Gianluigi Buffon ‘the best in the world’, despite some criticising the Juventus goalkeeper.
The veteran Bianconeri man was called up by some sceptics on Sunday after he was at fault for one of Fiorentina’s goal in their 4-2 win.
But the Coach has called the shot-stopper the best in the business, whilst also remarking on Francesco Totti’s rumoured Italy re-call for the World Cup.
“Buffon is the best in the world,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “He will be our goalkeeper at the World Cup.
“Totti deserves a lot of credit. It’s impossible not to think about Totti at the World Cup. But I don’t want to talk about it at the moment for luck.”
