Inter chief Massimo Moratti has looked to cool the furore caused by a Facebook post from Juventus President Andrea Agnelli.

The latter yesterday published a joke about the capital of Indonesia being changed from Jakarta to Jakartone following Inter’s sale to Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir.

The jibe was a play on words with regard to the so-called 2006 Scudetto di Cartone – cardboard Scudetto – which was taken away from the Old Lady and handed to the San Siro club following Calciopoli.

“You had a good laugh at the Jakartone jibes? Yes, because it came to me in a text message which was very warm towards both me and the club,” Moratti stated on Inter’s website.

“So it was a joke that I thought would end there, yet then, perhaps naïvely, it appeared elsewhere.

“Anyway, that's end of it,” he added. “There is no response to it whatsoever. It was a joke that ends there.”
