Insigne and Alessandro Florenzi were the most impressive figures in the 2-2 draw.

“We youngsters put the effort in for our clubs too in order to earn our Italy call-ups and we’ll always be at the disposal of the Coach.

“The fact we ended unbeaten gives us confidence, though we are not happy with the result. It’s important we didn’t lose and kept trying till the end.”

Insigne almost scored on several occasions, hitting the woodwork and skimming the upright after a sensational Cruyff turn.

“It was a good move, but I wanted to score tonight. If I had scored from there it would’ve been amazing.”
