Fiorentina 'wouldn't swap' with Juve

Fiorentina director Daniele Pradè insists he “wouldn’t swap” his team or Coach Vincenzo Montella with Juventus.

The two arch rival clubs go head-to-head this weekend and there’s no love lost between them.

“Would I exchange Antonio Conte with Montella? Absolutely not. He’s the tactician we’re counting on and we’re growing together,” director of sport Pradè told Radio Blu.

“I do have to recognise Conte is a Coach capable of transmitting his character to the squad. Juventus are a winning side and we too are trying to bring in a winning mentality.

“This is a match that means a great deal to everyone in Florence and it’s different to all the others. We know how much the fans and club want to do well.

“What do Juventus have more than Fiorentina right now? Their ability to deal with results. Their team was constructed in order to win, whereas we have a different budget, but I still wouldn’t change our squad with theirs.

“After all, we have 12 players away on international duty at the moment, whereas Juventus have only nine.

“We are convinced that we can start an important era at Fiorentina.”
