According to reports, Mario Gomez and Fiorentina are on a collision course regarding his recovery from injury.
The German striker suffered a knee injury last month that was expected to keep him sidelined for between six to eight weeks.
However, after a successful rehabilitation, the forward wants to be cleared by the medical staff and back in the squad in time for the game with Milan on November 3.
The Viola though, according to La Nazione, do not want to take that risk, and will advise Vincenzo Montella that November 24 is the earliest Gomez can play.
