Juventus deserved their victory against Milan on Sunday night, insists goalscorer Sebastian Giovinco.
The latter came off the bench with the tie at 1-1 and made an immediate impact by giving his side the lead in an encounter which eventually ended 3-2.
“We played a good game and deserved the victory, despite the occasional lapses in concentration that we paid dearly for,” he stated.
“We conceded from their first opportunity, we need to try and concentrate for the full game. But we played well apart from those opening 10 minutes and I think it’s an important win.
“Serie A is really difficult this season, but we’ve known that for some time. Saying that, the season is still very long.”
The Atomic Ant, who had yet to score this term, is a player who continues to divide public opinion.
“I’m very happy with my goal and I want to continue like this,” the 26-year-old added. “If you score on an evening like this it’s a different feeling.
“I dedicate this strike to all of those who stay close to me.”
