Cagliari chief Massimo Cellino has no intention of selling his best players. “Nobody has the money to sign them anyway.”
The Sardinian outfit have a squad which contains the highly rated trio of Davide Astori, Radja Nainngolan and Victor Ibarbo.
“Our jewels? If people haven’t got the money to sign them…” noted Cellino after the 1-1 draw with Inter on Sunday.
“Also, I sign players to play for Cagliari – not to then sell them on to other clubs. We have good players who will stay here.
“Ibarbo? There was an offer from Inter for him in the summer, but they decided to not invest in him.”
