Alessandro Florenzi says Roma’s primary target for the season is to make sure they qualify for European club football next term.

The Giallorossi currently lead the Serie A standings after six wins from six, but the Italian international is not thinking about the Scudetto just yet.

“The objective is to get back into Europe,” the Roman stated to Sky Sport Italia after the 5-0 win over Bologna. “It’s not nice staying at home in the week…”

Florenzi opened the scoring last night as the Giallorossi continued to shine under new boss Rudi Garcia.

“We have a lot of quality players who can make things look easy,” the former Crotone midfielder commented.

“We opened the scoring quickly and bossed the match as we wanted to. We even did well in the second half despite the clear advantage.”
