Juventus released a statement warning Carlos Tevez is “a big risk” to face Galatasaray due to Ciro Immobile’s challenge.
Immobile raked his studs down the back of Tevez’s ankle during today’s Turin Derby, which Juventus won 1-0.
The Torino player was only booked for the foul, though Coach Antonio Conte insists he should’ve seen red.
“During the first half of the game in Turin, Carlos Tevez suffered a strong trauma, with a cut, to his right ankle,” read a statement on the club website.
“His condition will be evaluated over the next few hours, but his availability for Wednesday’s game against Galatasaray is a big risk.”
