Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia has praised ‘Spanish-like’ Fiorentina after their Serie A meeting on Thursday.
The Viola took the lead at San Siro through Giuseppe Rossi, but the Nerazzurri hit back to collect a 2-1 victory.
“We suffered a lot more than we had in the other games, but we're growing mentally too,” the centre-back told Inter Channel. “We were down and managed to turn it around.
“Playing Fiorentina was like facing a Spanish team…” he added.
“And up top Rossi is very good,” he said of his international teammate. “I’m happy to see him back after being out for so long.”
