Philippe Mexes’ agent has claimed that his client never thought about leaving Milan over the summer.
The French defender was linked in some quarters with a move to Arsenal, but the player’s representative has insisted that is nonsense, and the centre-back is happy at San Siro.
“For Philippe, it is all about Milan,” Olivier Jouanneaux told CalcioMercato. “The dream is to win with the Rossoneri.
“In the past he has never even considered for a moment leaving Milan. He always wanted to stay and become a better player at the club.
“He has bought a house in the city and feels comfortable at the club.
“I think this is a positive time for Philippe. For me the Mexes-Zapata partnership is a very good one – I’m sure with the passage of time they will improve too.”
