Enrico Preziosi is “honoured” to be President of Genoa on their 120th anniversary. “No other club has our history.”
Genoa Cricket and Football Club were the first ever Italian side to be formed on September 7 1893.
“I am proud and honoured to be the President of a team with such great history. Anyone can win a Scudetto, but no other club has our history,” said Preziosi.
“Being President of Genoa is a great responsibility and I hope in this historic campaign we do not suffer the way we did in recent years. We have what it takes to avoid that.”
The Grifone narrowly escaped relegation for the last two seasons and have started this term with two consecutive defeats.
