Marco Donadel has admitted he is relishing the chance to play first-team football at Verona this term.
The 30-year-old midfielder is on loan at the Gialloblu from Napoli until the end of the season, and the former Fiorentina man has insisted it was an easy decision to join the newly-promoted side.
“Verona is a great city with so much enthusiasm for this team,” he told a Press conference. “This is the right place for me.
“I know the deal was completed right at the last minute, so I’m thankful it went well.
“An agreement was found half an hour before the end of the window and I accepted without even asking about the money.
“I really want to return to playing and I hope I can do that here.”
