There is no better goalkeeper on the planet than Inter’s Samir Handanovic, says Slovenia boss Srecko Katanec.
“We have two excellent ‘keepers,” the 50-year-old, who spent five years as a player at Sampdoria, is quoted as saying by FC Inter News.
“One, Handanovic, is certainly the best in the world. While Jan Oblak is growing well and I hope he gets the opportunity to prove it.”
Handanovic joined the Nerazzurri last summer from Udinese and impressed despite the Beneamata’s struggles in 2012-13.
The 29-year-old has been capped over 50 times for his country.
