Esteban Cambiasso is keeping his feet on the ground despite Inter’s impressive triumph at Catania last night.

The Nerazzurri maintained their winning start to the Serie A season with a 3-0 victory at the Stadio Massimino.

“We played great and dominated,” the Argentine told Inter Channel. “We always had things under control, but it’s only Week 2.

“We have to repeat this kind of performance 1,000 times in order to have a great season,” added the midfielder.

Inter had struggled for form and results during pre-season following the appointment of 3-5-1-1 boss Walter Mazzarri.

“During the tour it was difficult to work because of all the moving around,” added the former Real Madrid man. “We can see the results of training over these last two weeks…

“I’m very happy about the win at Catania and I’d like to emphasise that we once again kept a clean sheet.

“This is very important and gives more peace of mind to all our attacking players.”

In 38 League games last season with Andrea Stramaccioni in charge, the Beneamata conceded 57 goals.

Inter will entertain champions Juventus in Week 3 when the season resumes following the international break.
