He tested Christian Abbiati several times from distance and had a hand in PSV’s goal.
According to Tuttosport, he caught Inter’s eye and they sent scouts to view Maher in Holland.
The price-tag is thought to be around €12-15m.
Maher was born in Morocco, but has a Dutch passport and only joined PSV two months ago from AZ Alkmaar for €8m.
