Gattuso: 'Hernandez unacceptable'

Palermo Coach Gennaro Gattuso slammed striker Abel Hernandez. “His training is unacceptable.”

The Uruguay international has caught the attention of several top clubs, including Roma and Napoli, but for the moment is still in Serie B.

“Abel has to train and tell us clearly if he is serious about wanting to remain at Palermo or not,” blasted Gattuso in La Repubblica.

“I cannot give anyone a free ride, otherwise my concept of a group goes out the window. He has to tell me, the club and the fans if he wants to stay at Palermo.

“What Abel cannot do is continue to train the way he has been in recent weeks. It is unacceptable.”

Palermo began their Serie B season last night with a 1-1 draw away to Modena.
