Palermo Coach Gennaro Gattuso has a one-round Coppa Italia ban after repeatedly insulting officials.

The tactician was sent off for dissent during Palermo’s 1-0 home defeat to Hellas Verona, but the ban was imposed after a Disciplinary Commission report showed he continued to hurl insults at the officials after his red card and in the locker room following the match.

In all six players have been given one-match bans in the Coppa Italia: Bacinovic (Palermo), Dessena (Cagliari” data-scaytid=”30″>Cagliari), Pecorini (Cittadella), Bertoncini (Frosinone), Defendi (Bari) and Frara (Frosinone).

Pescara and Torino were fined €7,000 for fans throwing fireworks and Brescia €2,000.

Novara were fined €5,000 for chants insulting the referee, while Palermo were fined €4,000 for chants insulting towards Verona striker Luca Toni.
