Takayuki Morimoto is no longer a Catania player after he was sold to Japanese outfit JEF United.

The 25-year-old, signed by Catania in 2006 from Tokyo Verdy, has moved back to his homeland on a permanent basis.

Morimoto, who spent 2011-12 on loan at Novara, was handed over to Dubai-based outfit Al Nasr in January of this year.

In 98 games for the Sicilian side, the striker netted 20 goals.
