Gigi Di Biagio has dropped Francesco Fedato from Italy’s Under-21 side after he violated the code of ethics.
The code was introduced by senior Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli and applies to the youth levels too.
Fedato had been called up for the Azzurrini’s friendly against Slovakia on August 14, but was dropped after his club Bari suspended him for disciplinary reasons.
He has been replaced by Virtus Lanciano midfielder Leonardo Gatto.
