Milan continue negotiations with Fiorentina for Adem Ljajic, which could be closed at €10m after the player changed agent.

There have been significant developments over the last 24 hours, as the Viola complained there had been no formal offer, so the Rossoneri sent a fax bidding €8m.

It is still not considered enough, but it is reported the Tuscans would be willing to part with the Serbian for €10m.

His contract expires in June 2014 and President Andrea Della Valle made it very clear they will not risk losing Ljajic on a free transfer.

The directors are also reportedly furious with Milan for already agreeing personal terms with the player when he is still under contract.

It is rumoured that Ljajic is taking the next step towards pushing a move through by firing agent Fali Ramadani and hiring Mladen Furtula instead.

Ljajic scored in today's 4-1 friendly win and the crowd chanted: 'Sign, sign, sign!'
