Chievo Verona have made no secret of the fact that they would like to sign available Inter midfielder Ezequiel Schelotto.
The Argentine-born Italian international is looking for a new club after he was not included in the squad for the Beneamata’s pre-season training retreat.
“Schelotto is basically talked about on a daily basis,” Chievo sporting director Giovanni Sartori told Calcio News 24. “Everybody knows his qualities.
“I’m not saying that we don’t want him, but there is still plenty of time in order to complete signings.”
Schelotto, 23, scored one goal in 12 League appearances for the Beneamata in the last campaign following a January move from Atalanta.
Chievo are hoping to net the right-sided South American on a simple loan deal.
