Manchester United have joined the race for Cagliari defender Davide Astori, along with Milan, Napoli, Liverpool and Southampton.
The Italian international scored a goal in the Confederations Cup this summer against Uruguay and confirmed he is likely to move on.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Manchester United are the latest club to show an interest in the 26-year-old centre-back.
He is already of interest to Milan and Napoli, while in January Liverpool and Southampton engaged in a bidding war for the player.
Cagliari held on to Astori back then, but would be more amenable to a sale now for €12m – approximately £10m.
