“It was very exciting seeing him placed alongside champions like Neymar and Andre Iniesta,” agent Fulvio Valcareggi told TuttoJuve.
“He proved his qualities to the whole world, whereas before they were only known in Italy. In the space of a few years Emanuele earned his spot as a protagonist with Juve and the Nazionale thanks to hard work.”
The tournament in Brazil also caught the eye of Premier League sides with offers coming in from Sunderland and Newcastle.
“The great performance at the Confederations Cup certainly caught the attention of international clubs, but Emanuele is happy at Juventus.
